   ▪ any other general information related to the pre-registration and the service of the Game.

4. We will retain your personal information collected per this consent for one (1) year following the official launch of the Game. Thereafter, we will promptly delete such information.

NCSOFT will send updates on LineageW and information on claimable benefits to the e-mails of the users (referred to as "Participants") who agreed to receive advertisements related to the LineageW service launch.

Participants can receive advertisement information sent by NCSOFT and may withdraw consent in accordance with Rights of the data subject.

In connection with Lineage W (the “Game”), NCSOFT Corporation and its affiliates (“we,” “our,” or “us”) may transfer your personal information across borders, and, to do so, we must obtain your consent per the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“EU GDPR”) and the personal information protection policies of major countries, including that of the Republic of Korea.

Upon your consent, your personal information will be transferred to the Republic of Korea, which is a region that does not currently meet the privacy protection standards of the European Commission (On June 16, 2021, the European Commission published the draft adequacy decisions for South Korea and launched the formal procedure toward the adoption of the adequacy decision, which is currently pending). We will ensure that the personal information subject to such transfer will be used only to the extent necessary to provide you the services related to the Game and that we shall strictly comply with the protection measures required by the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), as applicable.
